The property is approached from a rural lane and is at the end of a short cul de sac in the hamlet.

Ground Floor

Dining area

6.00m x 4.60m (19' 8" x 15' 1")

The front door opens straight into the large dining space which is the central area of the cottage. Pale ceramic tiles on the floor and sliding glass doors overlooking the rear garden make this a bright and airy room. The ceiling is double-height in this part of the house and the wooden stairs and galleried landing make this a very attractive feature indeed.

The arched opening leads into the kitchen, with a step down. On the other side of the room, open-tread wooden stairs lead up to the first floor. Beyond the stairs is the lounge area. Radiator on the front wall, with an attractive fret-work cover.

5.80m x 3.50m (19' x 11' 6")

The cosy lounge area has a large wood-burner,  tiled floor, TV point, and curtains to pull across to separate the lounge from the dining area if wanted. Radiators are at either end of the space with attractive fret-work covers. This room is at one end of the cottage and has lovely characterful stone walls and beautiful old beams.

2.40m x 2.50m (7' 10" x 8' 2")

The kitchen is fitted with modern white floor and wall units and has a wood-effect vinyl floor. The undercounter fridge and the gas cooker are included in the sale. A door opens into a small but useful utility room/storage space.

2.70m x 1.60m (8' 10" x 5' 3")

A smartly finished room with white toilet, wash basin and shower tray. Heated towel radiator and Velux window.

The glazed doors in the dining area lead onto a gravel and paved area directly behind the house, perfect for outdoor dining. Mature shrubs and trees line either side of the large lawn and to the left-hand side of the garden, a further area ideal for siting a shed or other store. Access to the rear garden is also possible via a gate at the side of the house.

A traditional stone cottage originally converted from a barn in a small farmstead, and still having all of it's character and charm due to the exposed stone walls and beams. The setting is rural and tranquil but only a short drive into Limerzel village where there is a baker, small convenience store and a good restaurant. 15 minutes from Questembert with its wonderful Monday market, and Rochefort-en-Terre, voted France's most beautiful village in 2016. Beaches at Damgan are about 30 minutes away, and the beaches of the Presqu-ile de Rhuys, the pretty town of Vannes and ferries to the islands in the Golfe du Morbihan are about 45 minutes away. This lovely cottage will equally make a delightful permanent home or well-situated holiday retreat
